Steegman Elektrotechniek B.V. is a recognised learning company. Boys and girls with at a minimum a finished VMBO degree and who would like to develop their skills in electrical engineering may apply with us for a work-study programme.
The work-study programme involves you gaining practical work experience on the work floor for four days a week and attending the ROC one day a week. Your training is completely funded. This includes teaching materials but also the days you attend school. You will receive a monthly pay and have job guarantees.
The vocational courses you can follow during the work-study programme include:
- Mechanic electrotechnical installations housing and utility BBL level 2;
- First mechanic electrical installations for housing and utilities BBL level 3;
- Technician electrical installations in the built environment BBL level 4.
We also take care of obtaining your safety certificates.
Every year, Steegman trains students who graduate after 2 or 3 years and can then continue their education. As training is an important personnel instrument at Steegman, a lot of time is spent on training and personal development.
